It's all fun.... but it is serios fun. It is so since all the funds from all our activities goes directly to support our task of helping Aruba's children. Any activity is designed to be a self sustaining ecosystem, from which profits all our charity activities can be funded. We are proud to host one of the biggest parties in Aruba each year, our famous Masquerade Ball. But that is just one of our fund sources
The premiere party for the carnival season, the Masquerade Ball is a luxurious event held at the Renaissance Conference Center, with open bar and food, featuring top bands playing Carnival music and much more.
On the route of the main Carnival Parade in Oranjestad, Kiwanis Club of Palm Beach every year sets up a tent to sell food and beverages, with all funds going to charity.
On this unique fundraiser, bikers attempt to ride the longest possible distance, while obtaining donations accrued either by distance achieved of just straight donation. The first ride was specifically comprised with members of Kiwanis. However, the latest editions have brought a wider group of enthusiastic riders from different biking groups and other individuals, all bringing even more sponsors for the activity. This is one of the most recently created fundraising activities, and so far it has proven to be an amazing success.
Held at night, the tournament uses neon balls and a specially marked ground to guide payers throug this unique playing experience.
With music from yesteryear performed by our own Kiwanis Band, along with invited artists, the Nostalgia Party provides an exhilarating plast to the past to our guests.
The dinner auction takes place every two years, and provides a setting to auction items as varied as art, sport memorabilia and cars (yes, we have auctioned an actual car)
